My Introduction Hi there! I'm a 41-year-old female. In Jan, 2020 I had a stroke. I was 39. The reason for my stroke is still unknown. The doctors have determined that there was a mass of about 2 centimeters on a valve in my heart. They presume a piece of that mass broke off and traveled to my brain. When I moved to Florida I found a cardiologist who accepted my insurance, he almost immediately wanted to do a surgery to remove the mass. Luckily, it was decided that first he would perform another test to measure the size of the mass because the mass was then gone. As for the effects of the stroke, most are cognitive. I also lost my peripheral vision on my left side. I have lost the ability to use a part of my brain. Though, I'm not here to complain, simply tell my story.
